We are a group of students, workers, and community members who have come together to stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people in their fight for justice.

 

About WMCPP

The Western Massachusetts Coalition for Palestine (WMCP) was formed in the aftermath of the Israeli government attack on the Freedom Flotilla in the predawn hours of May 31, 2010 which resulted in 9 deaths and numerous wounded.

We believe that the oppression of Palestinians cannot be divorced from all other oppressions that operate on a systemic level and punish marginalized groups and we stand in solidarity with other groups fighting against imperialism, racism, sexism, and homophobia in the US and abroad.

We believe that genuine peace in Palestine can only be achieved through justice, that is, when the Palestinians gain the right to self-determination and international law is upheld.
