ABOUT
Cafe Palestina seeks to promote knowledge and awareness about Israel and Palestine. We will offer dialogue, videos, movies, speakers and articles to provide information ignored or distorted by main stream media about the real situation in this troubled region. We will also serve as advocates for peace and justice in Israel/Palestine.
We focus on:
Support for the end of the Israeli occupation or blockade of the West Bank, Gaza, East Jerusalem;
Recognition of the Palestinian demand for self-determination;
Growth of popular opposition to US military aid and supplies of armaments and weapons to israel;
Promoting a resolution of the Palestinian refugee problem consistent with international law and equity;
Advocacy for US foreign policy based on neutrality and respect for international law;
Advocacy for a political system with equal rights for all people within the state of Israel.
