Powerful current film screenings from Palestinian film-maker and
photographer, Mohammad al-Azza. In the face of personal attacks
and sieges on his community, al-Azza has been a persistent and
courageous documenter of life in the Aida Refugee Camp. Speaking
with the films will be exhibit interviewee and colleague of el-
Azza’s, Amahl Bishara, an Associate Professor at Tufts and current
a Radcliffe Fellow. Recently returned from Bethlehem, Amahl will
share updates. This event will be a fund-raiser for al-Azza’s youth
media project at the Lajee Center in the Aida Camp. (Donations
voluntary.)
