Josh Ruebner, advocacy director of a national peace organization and former Middle East analyst for the Congressional Research Service, will be at The Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough on Saturday January 17th at 11 am to sign and discuss his new book Shattered Hopes: Obama's Failure to Broker Israeli-Palestinian Peace.

In his famous "Letter from a Birmingham Jail", Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. scolded "moderates" who believe they "can set the timetable" for another person's freedom.

Recent events--the US no vote in the UN to end Israeli occupation and US opposition to Palestinian membership in the International Criminal Court--show that we remain complicit with Israel in denying Palestinian freedom, as I recently wrote in The Hill and Huffington Post.
