We are currently in the Jewish month of Av. The month of Av is sometimes called "Menachem Av" - meaning Av of comfort. A month which recognizes the brokenness in our world and in our hearts.
Who does not need comfort in these times of horrifying violence in Gaza? The comfort of a community committed to safety and justice for Palestinians and Israelis. The comfort of a community that does not dehumanize Palestinians or Israelis and seeks to hold the State of Israel accountable for its actions. The comfort of a community that gathers seeking wholeness and a taste of a just and peaceful world.
Join us for a Shabbat of wholeness and peace, and to renew ourselves for another week of compassionate organizing. People of all ages and spiritual orientations encouraged to attend.
